The QDA interfaces with compatible flip-to-side mounts, allowing the thermal imager to be quickly moved away from the optical axis when transitioning to a red dot sight or LPVO. This is particularly useful when using conventional optics through glass, which thermal imaging devices cannot see through effectively.
