About Us
The Origin.
Nocturnal Optics Australia was formally established in July of 2022 and registered in October 2023 as a Night Vision & Thermal Imaging Retailer/ Designer located in Fremantle, Western Australia. It is 100% Australian-owned and operated.
The company was established by an Australian Defence Force Veteran/Former State Law-Enforcement Member with a strong technical skillset as both an end-user and a designer. Years of experience with In-Service ADF Night Vision and Situational Awareness equipment led to a keen interest in Image Intensification Technologies and its diverse uses in Civilian and Defence Sectors.

The Nocturnal Optics project was envisioned by it's founder after sustaining multiple career-altering injuries which unfortunately resulted in Medical Discharge from the Australian Army.

One of the major goals of the project was to establish a unique way to remain involved and support those within the international Military, LE and Civilian community.
The Mission.
The objective of Nocturnal Optics is to design and manufacture high-quality Night Vision products and to meet growing demand for advanced imaging technologies in low-light conditions. Thus, providing products to the Australian market that were otherwise thought to be inaccessible (or strictly for Government Use only).

Our goal is to achieve this by broadening the range of Night Vision Products lacking in the market through cultivating strong connections with various Suppliers, OEMs, Military Units, Defense Industry, and Civilian Market groups.
