BNVD-931 is a multi-purpose binocular night vision device (BNVD). It is specifically designed to work with aviation optics, typically the standard ANVIS-6/9 (A3279596 NSN #5855-01-519-4171) lenses.

The Argus BNVD-931 Night Vision Binocular Housing features an on-board illuminator and a improved dovetail interface for a stronger, more durable lock-up. Its recontoured, skeletonized pods are designed to reduce bulk, increase rigidity, and optimize the strength-to-weight ratio. 

The electronics have been revised for increased reliability in all conditions. It also includes articulating eye pods with programmable auto power off/on, an AA battery compartment, and a Fischer port for use with an external battery pack (Argus battery pack available separately).

This housing is compatible with MX10160 intensifier tubes and AVS-9 optics, making it an affordable and accessible platform to retrofit your current AVS system. With its excellent build quality and weight of just 600g for the fully built system, including an AA battery, this is a high-quality option for night vision binoculars.
