Description:

The RNVG-A, also known as the ARNVG, is a tough and fully-featured night vision binocular designed for challenging environments. Its billet machined aluminum housing far surpasses military drop test requirements, withstanding falls onto bare concrete from heights beyond the capabilities of lenses and image intensifiers.

The unit features push button switches for power and an Infrared Illuminator, with a guarded fence to prevent accidental activation. The viewing area includes indicators for battery life and IR illuminator status. Power can be supplied by an onboard CR123 battery or a battery pack with a 4 pin LEMO style connector.

The RNVG-A optics offer a wide range of adjustments, with mil-spec objectives allowing focusing from 9.8 inches to infinity, and mil-spec eyepieces with a diopter adjustment range of -6 to +2. The articulating design allows for quick adjustment of Interpupillary Distance, and the optical pods can be rotated out of the user's line of sight.

Unlike most NVGs that feature polymer housings, the RNVG-A utilizes a 7075 aluminium chassis for unparalleled strength and rigidity. All points of articulation have been reinforced to enhance impact resistance, making it a tough choice for users.
