Description:

The Argus BNVD-1431 MK2 Night Vision Binocular is a versatile and cost-effective dual-tube night vision system, combining modern functionality with a lightweight, articulating housing architecture inspired by the familiar PVS-31 binocular format.

Designed for adaptability and ease of use, the BNVD-1431 MK2 incorporates independently articulating optical pods, adjustable articulation tension and integrated interpupillary distance (IPD) stops. These features allow users to customise the positioning and movement of each optical pod while maintaining consistent alignment and a comfortable viewing experience.

The system features manual gain control, allowing users to adjust image brightness according to ambient lighting conditions and the installed image intensifier configuration. An integrated accelerometer provides automatic power management, while the housing supports operation from either a single onboard AA battery or an external battery pack through a Fischer/BNVD-style power connector.

Available with a selection of Generation 2/2+ and Generation 3 image intensifier configurations, the BNVD-1431 MK2 provides customers with flexibility across different performance requirements and budgets.

Each complete system assembled by Nocturnal Optics Australia undergoes our in-house preparation and quality-control procedures prior to dispatch. These include functional testing, optical inspection, dry-nitrogen purging and optical collimation, ensuring both optical channels are correctly aligned and the completed system is prepared for operation.
