Falconclaw PTT
Description:
The Falconclaw FC-PTT is a versatile communications interface designed to consolidate multiple radio and headset configurations into a single modular PTT platform. Rather than requiring a dedicated PTT for each radio or headset wiring standard, the FC-PTT supports both NATO and Peltor wiring and can interface with more than 1,200 supported radio models by simply changing the radio downlead.
Designed and developed in Estonia, the FC-PTT combines conventional radio communications with an integrated electret microphone and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing compatible smartphones to provide secondary audio and voice-app functionality alongside the primary radio channel.
Key Features:
- NATO + Peltor Compatibility: An integrated A/B selector allows the same PTT to operate with either Peltor or NATO-wired compatible headsets.
- 1,200+ Radio Compatibility: Change radios by replacing the detachable downlead rather than replacing the entire PTT. Supported options include the Motorola APX 900–8000 series, SRX 2200, PRC-152/148, Harris and numerous commercial radio platforms.
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Connect a smartphone for Zello, calls, media and other compatible phone audio. Dedicated radio and Bluetooth PTT controls allow the two communications paths to operate independently.
- Integrated Microphone: The built-in electret microphone allows communications with compatible hearing protection that does not incorporate its own boom microphone.
- Battery-Independent Radio Operation: Conventional radio communications, switching and the onboard microphone continue to operate without a battery. A single CR123A battery powers only the Bluetooth functionality.
- Flexible Mounting: Includes both a pre-installed belt clip and MOLLE clip for integration with load-bearing equipment.
- Rugged Construction: IP65 rated with waterproof-coated electronics and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C.

Radio Downlead:
Radio downlead cables are sold separately and must be selected to match the intended radio. Available configurations include Motorola APX, 6-pin NATO, Harris 9-pin Fischer, ICOM, Motorola and other interfaces.
